So, why choose Peakguide?

The aim of Peakguide is to provide an opportunity for those people who enjoy the countryside but want to build confidence in navigation, discover the natural world around them and to escape some of the stresses of modern life. It is not aimed at those wanting qualifications in navigation or ecology or strength-sapping SAS training but rather members of the general public who simply want to improve their map-reading and navigation skills and find out about the animals, birds and plants of the Peak District.

I have been a keen walker all my adult life and have been hiking in the Peak District for over 30 years. I have also trekked in the Spanish Pyrenees, the French and Swiss Alps, Norway and Iceland and have a keen interest in environmental matters.

You are guaranteed a high-quality service with Peakguide. Each guided walk is led in a relaxing, unhurried atmosphere where the small group size allows you time to enjoy the great outdoors.

If you have any concerns or questions about the walks or Peakguide, please look at our FAQs or contact us at: petefeetham@peakguide.org
